Changing with the seasons

As the days lengthen, Àclèaf continues its ongoing culinary journey with a refined menu that is evolving in step with the seasons. Our latest menu introduces thoughtful adaptations inspired by the ingredients of the moment, shaped by precision and artistry under Head Chef Scott Paton.

Found at the heart of the 5-star Boringdon Hall Hotel near Plymouth, our MICHELIN-Starred and 4 AA Rosette restaurant reflects an ethos of truth with elegance. Here, the very best of Devon’s seasonal produce is expressed through innovative dishes, offering an unforgettable journey through flavour.

Your dining experience at Àclèaf begins with vibrant opening dishes designed to engage the senses: GUINEA HEN carrot, Dijon; CRAB curry, mango; CHICKEN LIVER Pedro Ximénez, brioche; GOAT’S CHEESE d’agen prune, malt.

From here, the menu captures the freshness of harvests from coast and countryside: HALIBUT bordelaise, parsley; VEAL morel, allium; TURBOT langoustine, green chilli; WHITE ONION barrel aged rice, smoked garlic.

Moving deeper into nuanced flavours, refined dishes balance richness and character: WAGYU celeriac, truffled honey; VENISON beets, black tea; SCALLOP pink grapefruit, Espelette pepper; ROOTS oatmeal, black garlic.

Your evening culminates in a final course that provides a moment of measured indulgence: CHOCOLATE Nicolas Berger, pistachio; DUCK EGG rhubarb, hibiscus; COCONUT coffee, lemongrass.

Alternatively, explore the essence of the season with our latest tasting menu, a considered seven-course progression of celebrated ingredients: CRAB, HALIBUT, TURBOT, SCALLOP, WAGYU, VENISON, HONEY and CHOCOLATE.

Our sommelier has curated wine pairings to mirror each menu, where every wine has been carefully selected to enhance flavour and elevate your MICHELIN Star evening.
